Jacqui—affectionately known as “J”—is a woman of immeasurable passion and drive for both Radio and God. With over 15 years experience in the industry- she has worked with some of the top radio stations across the islands, including TBC Networks’ 105.1 FM, The Street 919 FM, Power 102 FM, and Pulse 89.5 FM.
Born with a natural love for people and a ready sense of humor, Jacqui always knew she was destined to be a radio personality from as early as 5 years old (a story she laughingly loves to tell). She trained at The School of Voice Culture, excelling in Radio and Television Broadcasting, Script Writing, News Casting, Advertising Sales, and Marketing. Under the mentorship of veteran broadcaster Eddison Carr, she honed her craft and built a reputation for excellence.
While hosting a public event with Pulse 89.5 FM, a patron dubbed her “The Lady With The Golden Voice”—a title that has stayed with her ever since. Later, while living on the sister island of Tobago, Jacqui hosted a series of secular events. Though those ventures were not fruitful, they became a turning point, leading her to recognize God’s greater purpose for her life.
Fresh Fire Gospel Radio TT holds a special place in Jacqui’s heart. The station was lovingly suggested and named by her son Ian, who passed away only months later. It now stands as a living testimony and tribute to him, carrying forward his vision while honoring God’s calling on Jacqui’s life.
Today, Jacqui embraces her true calling, allowing God to use her voice for His glory. She stands firmly on the scripture Hosea 4:6, which holds deep personal meaning for her.
